Is our house a barn?

So we got to see our house mostly framed today, and it looks kind of like a barn. It made us laugh. I know that once it's finished it won't look like a barn, but it sure feels like one right now.

So the basement walls were poured yesterday! How fun. I'll have quite a few pictures the next few weeks. They will start framing next week, so we will get to see a lot more! Yay!!!

Have you ever seen Up?

I felt like was the balloon man on Up the other day at work. There are 57 balloons in this picture. My fingers were sooooo sore by the time I was done tying all of those balloons. Can you imagine how many balloons he would have had to have made?

Footings in and Walls Started

It's exciting to actually walk into some part of our house!

Yay!!!

So I was excited last week to see our house strung out (marked in bright green). But today....We had a hole!!! I was so excited!!! We are finally getting started. I can't wait to see our hole become a house!
